Truck driver recently, a new study showed that one of the ten most dangerous professions in America. Endless hours of driving on our nation’s truckers and continuous cooperation of our highways and interstates creates a high risk to participate in a serious accident. However, these risks are much greater than the obvious. . . unusual work schedule, long periods of sitting, lifting heavy objects, stress, fatigue and inadequate diet can cause serious health problems. Because of these long periods of driving, many drivers fighting boredom is more developed in smoking habits and sleep together and live in a truck and working long hours and receiving little rest, physical problems become a major problem in our trucker’s health. Here in the United States, 20% of truck accidents as a result of several worked and tired drivers. The fatigue can cause diseases such as respiratory difficulties and sleep apnea in many over the road drivers. Also, the women leaders do not show a difference with the same health problems than male managers. In fact, the women truckers are fighting health issues, such as back pain, high blood pressure, migraines, sinus problems, and vision. Backaches are still second in the number of health problems truckers. Fatigue remains the number one.
